True Reset: Chapter 1
The human gasped for breath, his eyes opening and his mind flashed with sudden terror. He saw his ceiling above him and one of the posters on the wall right next to his bed. Sitting up, he glanced around the room in a panic. To his relief, everything seemed to be in the same place, the dresser drawers closed, his door cracked open just a tad, moonlight casting light through his uncovered window, and a plate covered in pie crumbs sitting on his nightstand.
